This Cleveland, Ohio based band of 8, is steeped with accolades and accomplishments that will surely whet your desire to give them a listen.

Though formed in 1984, Blue Lunch communicates a wondrous vibe that steers clear of sounding dated. With a style not unlike R&B~Blues greats Roomful of Blues, they retain an original sound of their own that packs a powerful punch.

Blue Lunch performed at the 2004 Presidential Inaugural Ball and several leading roots events, including The Pittsburg Blues Festival. They’ve also had the priviledge of performing with their now~deceased mentor-friend-neighbor, Robert Jr. Lockwood, and pay homage to him on this compilation, laying down a bare-bones cover of his “Little Boy Blue”. They were also honored to performed with Little Milton on his last stop in Cleveland, as well as Muddy Waters Band pianist Pinetop Perkins. And if that wasn’t enough to convince you..listen to what Terry Stewart, former executive director of the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and Museum has to say, “Check ‘em out because these cats can swing”.
