This debut album from seasoned players/songwriters, is simply Rock and Roll, which naturally includes a span of musical tastes from acoustic driven stories to deep down blues, with enough classic guitar and B3 tones to satisfy young and old rockers alike.

Hammerhead Lincoln is a band of seasoned musicians/songwriters, lending their signature sound to 13 original songs. Their brand of rock and roll spans all the best parts of the rock and blues genres. They've created an album that is cohesive, clever, and just different enough to be interesting to any audience, any age, any listener. Musicians, songwriters, and music lovers alike will be intrigued by the melodies, and arrangements, the lyrical content and jamming improvs, not to mention the vintage tone.

Raised and teethed on rock and roll from the 60's and 70's, these boys have played together, in some combination or another, over many years in any number of bands, and have now come together to bring their time honored groove to this album of original music. The result is a vintage sound that's new, and yet somehow familiar, with a style of songwriting that's become rare these days and seems to have been forgotten or lost in the mainstream of corporate radio. Have a listen and join with them in the hopes that craftsmanship in songwriting can again return to music lovers everywhere.

The album starts off with "Hippie Song" which conjures up memories of Neil Young and Crazy Horse, "Simple Complication" might just remind you of John Hiatt, then it drops into a fast blues for "Going Down Lonesome", while next it slips into a kind of gospel vibe for "Sinner Such as I". "Travel Song" .... well, you decide where that hails from. Many sub genres of music are represented, all falling under that glorious umbrella of rock and roll. If you've a taste for such things, have a listen to these excerpts. Odds are you'll be wanting the whole shebang before its all over. Treat yourself to the way albums used to be made.
