The Hellhounds are Vince Flora on Lead Vocals, Harp and Guitar, Johnny Beemiller on Guitar / Vocals, Ron Rummage on Bass / Vocals and Bill Meredith on Drums. They possess a certain sound and ability as a band with individual musicianship unparalleled by many. The Hellhounds would like to invite you to taste some Memphis barbeque for your ears by listening to some clips from Halfway Between Somewhere And Nowhere. The CD was recorded September 2005 at Leeway Music Studios in Memphis with producer Jeff Dunn and engineer Kevin Houston. Mastering was done by Larry and Kevin Nix at Ardent Studios also in Memphis.

Donald "Duck" Dunn (Booker T. & the M.G.'s, Blues Brothers and Neil Young) served as executive producer on the project as well. The band had Duck come in towards the end of pre-production to see if the songs and arrangements could pass the acid test. Soon thereafter at a show in early August Duck told the band it was time to hightail it to memphis, get down to business and record the CD.

In keeping with the flow of their intense and spontaneous energy, the Hellhounds finished the CD which showcases the band's powerful live sound in only eight days, topping off the hard work in the studio with a smokin' show at Blues City on Beale Street.
