Born and raised in New York City... but when he was 19 years old... Texas happened.
When Frank moved to the Lone Star State, he almost immediately formed Mason Dixon. The Texas vocal group enjoyed a long touring and recording career sharing the stage with just about anyboy that was anyone in the 80’s and 90’s country music scene. They recorded 5 studio albums and racked up 13 Bill- board singles along the way.
Mason Dixon stopped touring in 1993. Frank returned to Houston and put and music aside for some time. That might have been the end of a long run has it not been for a fight with cancer in 2009. Nerve damage took away the use of his hands. When they came back, some pretty good songs came along too.
Frank is also a founding member of The Great Recession Orchestra, an all-star studio band of Texas musicians paying tribute to the roots of Western Swing.

Frank has been shaking up the Texas songwriter scene the past few years with wins at The Songwriter Serenade (2013), The Kerrville Folk Festival (2014) and as a finalist at the Wildflower Arts and Music Festival in 2015.
